Leveraging the same technology as CIOgateway, Mayor Hollaran has taken Blogging to a new level.  Creating an electronic Waterloo community, she has introduced a medium for two way discussions.   My questions are:

- will other community CAOs and Mayors catch CIOs unprepared when they ask for suggestions on how to engage the community

- can this form of communication reduce the eco-footprint within the community (although it cannot replace print medium, it can be another channel)?

- what education and planning support do CIOs need to identify their next step in Constituent Social Networking.
